Types of fabric expansion joints or flexible joints

Fabric expansion joints have different functions in mechanisms, for example, they absorb vibrations and other forces, help with erection of structures and prolong their service life. Depending on equipment operation conditions different types of expansion joints may be used. “Kompenz-Elastic” produces several types of flexible fabric expansion joints.

• Expansion joints for low temperatures.
  They are suitable for gas and air pipelines, flexible connectors in ventilation systems.

• Expansion joints for high temperatures.
  For temperatures up to 500 ºC we produce flexible expansion joints with several layers of thermo and gas isolation, the materials are chosen in terms of requisite operating parameters and service conditions.

• Multi-layer expansion joints with additional internal insulation.
  They are suitable for operation with exit gas temperature over 500 С, for example, after gas turbine diffuser, as well as in dust environments and other complicated conditions.
• 
  
• Expansion joints for aggressive environments.
  Flexible expansion joints with increased protection from chemical and other substances are suitable for operation with alkalis, acids or other types of aggressive environments.
