Multi-layer expansion joints with internal insulation

Construction

This type of expansion joints has internal insulation insert in its construction. Expansion joints are produced of several layers of heat insulating and gastight materials. Internal insulation insert is made of heat insulating fabrics that act as framing and heat isolating filling based on ceramic fiber. The applied materials depend on temperature of transmitted environments and installation sites. We use about 12 types of materials that are chosen on the design stage of expansion joint.

Application

Typical place of application of this type of expansion joints is critical parts of equipment with temperatures over 500 С and up to 1200 С. Big compensation capacity up to 200 mm in axial and up to 50 mm lateral displacement along with small size.

Peculiarities

• Expansion joints for flow cross-section of gas flues that can be transported are delivered ready-to-install for welding to the gas flue.
  
• For out-of-gauge dimensions the delivery is non-assembled to be assembled on-site.
