General concept
Rubber expansion joints or vibro inserts are the flexible joints produced from natural or synthetic elastomer. Rubber expansion joints are used for compensation of pipeline thermal expansion, of disalignment, for vibration isolation and reduction, for noise reduction from pipeline, pump and other equipment work.
