For expansion joints with wave compensation capacity is in percentage of assembling width of expansion joint.

Axial compensation capacity: − 30 %
Displacement compensation capacity: − 15%

Example:
Assembling width of expansion joint = 200 mm
Axial compression: − 50 mm
Lateral displacement: ± 20 mm
